Common Illnesses & Symptoms We Treat

Not every illness requires a trip to the emergency room. Our urgent care team evaluates and treats a variety of common conditions and symptoms, including:

  • Cold & flu symptoms — fever, chills, body aches, fatigue, congestion and other common symptoms.

  • Sore throat & strep throat — evaluation and testing when appropriate for persistent or painful sore throats.

  • Cough & congestion — evaluation of cough, chest congestion, nasal congestion and other respiratory symptoms.

  • Sinus infections — care for sinus pressure, congestion, facial discomfort and other symptoms of sinusitis.

  • Ear infections & ear pain — evaluation and treatment of common ear complaints and infections.

  • Fever — evaluation to help determine the possible cause of a fever and appropriate next steps.

  • Urinary tract infections (UTIs) — evaluation and urinalysis for symptoms such as painful or frequent urination.

  • Nausea, vomiting & stomach illness — evaluation of common gastrointestinal symptoms and stomach bugs.

  • Rashes & minor skin concerns — evaluation of common rashes, irritation and other non-emergency skin concerns.

  • Minor respiratory illnesses — evaluation of common respiratory symptoms that do not require emergency care.

  • Other non-emergency illnesses — if you're unsure whether your symptoms can be treated at urgent care, contact our office or stop in for an evaluation.

Testing When You Need It

Depending on your symptoms and medical evaluation, our providers may recommend testing to help identify the cause of your illness.

Testing available at Centreville Urgent Care includes COVID-19 testing, flu testing, strep testing, urinalysis for suspected UTIs, pregnancy testing, and other testing when medically appropriate.

For additional testing services, visit our Testing & Lab Services page.
